On September 29, Ruppert Stüwe (SPD), member of the Bundestag, visited the Digital Labs site of the Berlin Institute of Health @ Charité. Ruppert Stüwe is a member of the Committee for Education, Research and Technology Assessment in the Bundestag, spokesman for his parliamentary group on health research and deputy member of the Budget Committee. The MP learned about how BIH translates findings from science into practical applications for the benefit of patients. He exchanged views with Christopher Baum and Michael Frieser on the mission and set-up of BIH and spoke with Simone Spuler and Frederick Klauschen about their spin-offs MyoPax and Aignostics, which were previously funded as projects by BIH.
