Join us for the open house at the new location: Welcome BIH Directors, keynotes, New Work Concepts, panel discussion and guided tours of the building and funded projects.

Open House at the New Site
After two years of development, the new Charité BIH Innovation and Coworking Space “Am Zirkus” is ready to launch. Join us at our new location to meet the Charité BIH Innovation teams, projects funded by BIH Digital Health Accelerator and SPARK-BIH, as well as alumni startups. Furthermore, the emerging role of New Work Concepts in academia, and innovation will be discussed with leading Berlin architects and an expert panel.

Program

10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event will be opened in the morning by Prof. Christopher Baum (Scientific Director of BIH and Member of Charité Board of Directors), Dr. Michael Frieser (Administrative Director of BIH) and Thomas Gazlig (Head of Business Division Charité BIH Innovation), followed by guided tours through the house with presentations of Charité BIH Innovation Teams Digital Labs, SPARK-BIH, Patents & Licenses and Match & Connect.

3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
In the afternoon, join us for the session about New Work Concepts with keynote talks by Chris Middleton (Kinzo) and Tobias Ell (Carpus+Partner AG), followed by the expert- and user panel discussion (Moderation: Daniel von Seld). Afterwards, we continue with Guided Tours through the house and meetings with projects teams and alumni startups.

Admission Information
The event will take place in accordance with the currently valid Corona rules. Any necessary adjustments, for example to the permitted number of people, may be made until shortly before the event due to the current infection situation on site and the resolutions of the Senate of Berlin.

Please note:
All participants are advised to get tested independently before being admitted. Furthermore, all guests are requested to wear a mask in enclosed spaces and especially if a 1.50 m distance is not maintained.

Persons with respiratory symptoms will not be admitted to the event.
